I think it's just a rumour. Or if it does exist it would probably be such a huge amount that no non staff habbo would ever get it.

What would be the point in having such a huge amount?
I don't think it exists, somebody would've tried to find it by now.

Hmmm im not sure, although I have thought the same about how many rooms you can have, i know its limited when your non VIP to 50 or so but Id like to think habbo made both limitless. Im at the 70 room mark now and I could still create rooms when I had VIP...maybe its 100?

It's happened to me... I lost about 400 pieces of furni, most of it being multiples. I found a few holoboys I didn't know I had from about two years ago. Right now I probably have about 1500 pieces of furni in my hand.

I first noticed it when I would buy something out of the marketplace and the furni wouldn't show up. I bought about 10 creeky walls and nothing showed up, but it still charged me coins, so I got mad but figured it would appear eventually... then a couple months later, when I was making my wired maze, I was buying the tribal walls but they were disappearing too. Since I used so much furni in that room (and was selling everything in my hand in the marketplace), some stuff started randomly appearing in my hand, such as starter furni and random rares.

I then proceeded to dump everything out of my hand and into storage rooms, where after each furni was dropped, another missing furni appeared. However I'm not too sure why it didn't always work; I would drop 10 pieces in a storage, but nothing new would come up. Selling stuff in the marketplace had a better rate at returning pieces of furni back into my hand.

Stuff that was hiding but I never knew included: HC sofas, stools, iced bars, teleporters (white, blue, red), doormats, ducks, and cacti.

So yes, there is a furni limit for your inventory.
