    Default Botting rules on hxf??

I think the botting rules are unfair on here, i know botting is against the rules but we chose to do it so why can't we talk about it? I personally think we should be aloud to post pictures of bots and talk about botting and how to bot because at the end of the day its our accounts we put at risk, nothing else.

    so thats my rant over

    I don't see why it's not allowed.
they say that Habbo have sanctioned the trading of Habbo but it's not sanctioned by Runescape.
    Thus there's really no difference.

I agree with this to be honest. Who cares its our accounts and if we want to bot we can.

I don't think anyone is going to be offended if 'bot pictures' are posted.

The thing is though, you don't just put your account as risk really.
By posting about bots, and linking people to bots; you're also putting other people's accounts at risk as well. You may persuade people to bot when they otherwise wouldn't have.

Also, botting is illegal; and why should others care about you botting anyway? There's no need for you to post yourself botting all over the forums.

Thats how I see the rule anyway
used to fix usertitles n stuff

    Allow me just to quote the rules here;

Users are allowed to post screenshots of themselves using bots - The name of the bot is not to be anywhere on the screenshot.
Users must not ask for links or names of bots
Users must not link other users to bots or give out the names of bots
Users must not discuss how to find bots
Your allowed to post screenshots, using the bot itself as long as any information regarding the bot is taken away.

And also from what i can see within the rules it generally doesnt state.

    'YOU MUST NOT DISCUSS BOTS'
Your allowed to discuss bots, such as how they benefit runecape, such as pro's and cons, however you are not allowed to link anyone to a bot, post the bot name, as it can generally be found very easily.

Huh? You talk about botting in almost every thread you post in, anyway... Every post I've seen, anyway.

I don't care if people bot but I don't particularly want to read about it. I'm sure there are other forums you can talk about botting on.

Just noticed this, and i think you will find that you are wrong.

    3. Isn’t it up to me what I do with my items & account? No, the terms and conditions state that your RuneScape character, account and items are, and remain, the property of Jagex.

Why would you want to discuss botting? its embarrassing, even though I bot on a spare account for runescape gold I don't boast about it.

The rules fair, I don't think management care if you post screenshots of your bot once you don't link them directly to the site. The rules pretty lenient, obviously if is discussions about botting people would exchange links through private message and more bots is not what runescape needs.
