Game Maker 7 HELP !!!!

ok so im learning to create games in college and i download game maker 7 as its the same as the one in college.

When i create my game and click play it comes up with an error saying

Failed To load game. File seems corrupted


anyone help me out on how to get rid of this???????

You're making games in Game Maker at College?! What's your course?

And what OS are you using? Apparently it has issues with Windows Vista and that, try running in compatibility mode.

lol am using WINDOWS 7 lol

and my course is a National Deplomia in IT Practitoners Software Develiopment lolol long name =] its a northern ireland course :L :L
