i dwonloaded internet explorer 9 because a promt kept coming up and i really hate it, when i got to download IE8 again it wont let me coz ive got 9 installed, how do i get rid of it?

nah but i really wanna keep IE, ill give rep to some1 who can give me a way to keep it and get rid of IE9

If your on Vista/Windows 7 just uninstall Internet Explorer 9 and it should go back to 8.

I agree with the above post but if your determined to keep IE..
Close all your active windows, go to Start, Control panel, Programs and features, View installed updates (on the left hand side), locate IE 9 then follow the instructions and uninstall, then you should have IE 8.
I'm presuming you have Vista/Windows 7.
