The older XBOX's are harder to get hold of these days, new anyway.

Just go for the latest model - a XBOX 360 slim. I'd recommend getting the 250GB version.

They are affordable and I'd recommend the XBOX. Enjoy your gaming

if you plan on getting dlc for the game, get the one with the higher memory

out of curiosity, why you getting a 360, not a wii/PS3?

You dont need 250gb imo. Just see if you can get a regular 60gb 360 from somewhere like game or amazon.

Because we already have a Wii and more people at my school have Xbox's so I could play with them :3 plus the general feedback at my school is that 360's are better.

Woahh... the Wii is no competitor for the XBOX.

You'd be stupid not to get one

Get an Xbox 360 Slim 260GB, they look stunning, have lots of memory for my music and it makes cool little beepy noises when you turn it on.

Although I think you should maybe not listen to those to say the Xbox is better than the PS3, they are different in many different ways, and in reality you cannot really say one is better than the other as they both do fairly different things.
    One for the road.

    250GB Xbox Slim/The new one.

    Why?
My girlfriend currently has one.. (Compared to my 20GB Halo 3 edition one ..) and I love it.

Wireless features are great, the designs are simplistic.. It's all wonderful.
With a lot of download content you will be downloading A LOT of updates for the xbox in months to come, with old games you need to update the xbox for it play or just a general update.
You can get a lot of stuff on it as well as not having to worry about space

Also, don't go with the crowd..
Wii is more active and entertaining as well as the same as the xbox now with Kinect.

I wouldn't get the hard drive included unless you're sure you're going to use 250 GB. If you're going to load movies, music, Live Arcade games, other downloadable content, and have a bunch of saved games, then and only then do you need that much storage.
