I've had Firefox 3 for some time now and I have noticed Firefox 4 has been out for a few months. Just wondering if anyone knows if it is worth getting Firefox 4 or staying with 3? +Rep

Upgrade, it can only really be beneficial, they have improved crash protection, and faster speed. I'm also a fan of the new GUI, but obviously that is user preference. The only problem is that some plug-in's are not compatible. You can always downgrade if you find you don't like it.

May as well update, it's best to be on the latest versions of software you use really. I haven't had any problems with it so far!

Blegh, i wanna update for the bugs n such, but i really dont like the GUI. I might as well switch to chrome. Oh the decisions.

No, Firefox 4 is out of beta and has been since the 22nd March.

I haven't used firefox 4 much since it was released, but from the time Ive used it I would say it's worth it to upgrade because you don't get any where near as many crashes. :L

I finally upgraded yesterday and I'm finding it much nicer so far!

Same Sharon! I really like it, although I didn't get crashes when I had version 3 :S
