items to alch?

going for 99 mage so i have to do about 110k alchs, havnt been around for awhile so whats the best item to alch these days so you dont lose loads of money? id prefer f2p items since i cba to buy mebs till im 99 mage.

I normally used to alch d battle axes, maple longs (u) and air battlestaffs.

Common one is maple longs (u) now i think.

Dont you tend to lose abit alching maple longs (u) tho?

Most things youll loose money alching sadly, it cost me 35m from 82-99 mage, and thats when prices was alot higher then they currently are.

I tend to use http://www.alchprices.com/ whenevr I need an item to alch. Making the Nature runes yourself also helps alot too.

Last I did air battlestaffs made profit, but you can only buy so many every 4 hours.

I have a couple of friends who used to do this. No idea if it's still profitable, you'd have to check the prices yourself. You can get past the limit by getting your friends to put in offers in the GE for air battlestaves as well, or find someone whose crafting them, and buy them off them.

I currently cut Yew Logs on my pure; then I cut the yew logs into Yew Longbows (U) - then I string them from bowstrings bought from the G.E

Then I alch them as you make profit cause you cut them yourself. Looking to get into making natures soon; we'll see

Any idea how many weapons/ platelegs etc your aloud to buy because i can only buy 100 at once? but how long do i have to wait for another 100?
