Currently, I have a Desktop (not wireless) and a laptop (wireless). The router is in the living room, so the desktop in my room has not internet connection.
Is it possible for me to use my laptop and an ethernet cable to connect my desktop via the internet?

So it would be like Desktop >> Laptop >> Router

    +Rep Thanks

Plug the ethernet cable into both computers, then on your laptop go to Start > Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings > Highlight the wireless and wired connection > right click on one of them > Click Bridge Adapters

I tried that, but it keeps saying I must select 2 LAN or highspeed internet connections, that are not being used by internet connection sharing. I only have one, and thats the LAN i believe?
