    Default Wireless [+16]

    Hey,
My desktop which is connected directly to my router gets 104mb/s (download) and my brother gets 50 or so mb/s but the strange thing is even though me and my brother have our laptops beside each other his wireless gets at least 5 times the amount of speed than mine. Why is this and is there anyway i can fix it?

    His PC isn't wireless...

Have you tried looking in the router settings, I know with some routers if you fiddle with the settings there is an option about direct connections in the router?

    Agreed.

As I said in your other thread, Wireless G is only capable of 54Mbps, whilst Wireless N is capable of up to something like 300Mbps
