Default Lower leg pain when pressure is applied.

Whenever my shin area has pressured applied (i.e - I sit cross legged or I sit on 1 leg) it hurts. Like a really sharp pain. No idea what it is. Has been happening for about a few months now. Any ideas?

Don't know Paul. I think that as you have had it for a few months you should get it checked out.

Could be a range of things: bad blood flow, over reactive nerves and damaged tissue to name a few possibilities. Best to get it checked out by a GP.

A bruise doesn't take a few months to come through.

If you're into physical activity / sport take a look at this, http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/shin-sp...roduction.aspx

If not, is there any bruising around your shin?
