Audio pop ups

This is happening every day and is annoying as hell. Without and programmes running I get loud pop ups and adverts playing, when I open task manager they aren't there.

Anyone ever had this or know a solution?

Sounds like a malware problem, it comes under 'adware' when a virus gives you popups and adverts when idle like that.

Try installing and scanning using http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and see if you can fix it without having to resort to the 'Backup, Format, Re-install' that's going to be inevitable.

Maybe there's something hidden in your desktop that you don't know ?

Do some scans with various malware/spyware tools to try and identify the problem. Best option is to format and re-install your OS. (Any files you're backing up should be scanned on the way out and on the way in again).

And to stop the problem from occurring again be careful which porn sites you happen upon
