Looks like this petition could actually lead to a debate on a referendum in the House of Commons.

A HUGE show of support for our petition to force a vote on Britain leaving the European Union has seen more than 25,000 people sign up.
We have already had a massive response since its launch on Saturday demanding a referendum on EU membership.
Over the weekend a staggering 700 people an hour added their signatures to our list, which could lead to Parliament debating the issue.
Everyone who signs up to support our call will have their signature added to our exclusive “Britain wants a referendum to leave the EU” petition, which has been registered on the Government’s new directgov e-petitions website.

Haha, yes there will be a debate which will go like this.
Tories: "Shall we have a referendum on the EU?"
Labour: "Na."
Tories: "Agreed."
Speaker: "Next subject..."

If we leave the EU we won't have to pay for Greece (too late tbh) or any other similar situations. We won't be forced to change laws which have been around for centuries anymore and we will actually be able to make our own decisions.
It no longer matters who we vote in, because all the real decisions are made in Brussels. Until we leave the EU, we can't be an independent country.
THE EU IS JUST A SOCIALIST EMPIRE WAITING TO HAPPEN - LEAVE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.
Now excuse me while I go and eat some German sausages with Greek Yogurt and French cheese.

We also lose what's left of our manufacturing industry, international companies (such as nissan and toyota) locate their factories here for export to the EU.If we leave the EU we won't have to pay for Greece (too late tbh) or any other similar situations. We can keep them if our Government are any good at their job - ie; negotiating with other countries for the best of this country.

The amount of money we shell out to the EU can be spent on improving trade links ourselves (for Nissan and Toyota, as you say) - we don't need the EU to hold our hand along the way.

If we start making deals before we pull out, then it should be a smooth transition. It's not a case of do it now, fix it later. It's obviously got to be one smooth move from EU to non-EU, trade relationships are just one thing involved. Don't get me wrong I understand that companies might not like it, but they won't move if they don't need to.

That really wouldn't work.
