Default Lumps on the back of my tounge

I woke up this morning with these small lumps at the back and only on one side of my tounge, they have increased in size during the day. I have a lot of discomfort and it hurts whenever i swallow. I was just wondering if anyone may possibly know what it might be and if i should get it checked out tomorrow or in the next couple of days if it gets any worse. Any advice would be appreciated as i don't want to be getting sick just now lol.

good bit of bonjella works well on all mouth sores if you have any if you've never used it before: it will sting initially, but it numbs the pain after a while

If you eat something sour or salty , your tongue may be sensitive to those.

sounds like knacker sores to me.. Best thing to do if it is, is to avoid any sour, salty foods for a few days until their gone or you can do as Myke above suggest and do a Salt water rinse (weird as I suggested to avoid salt foods =P)

I agree with Myke and Allan too. I usually do that and drink a lot of water. Or else, see a doctor.

I get those whenever I have had a throat infection or if I've burned it. Salt water normally heals it.
