[HELP] HDMI Cable

Hi, my HDMI Cable doesn't plug into the HDMI Slot on my xbox...

It fits into my tv but for some reason it wont slot into the 360 itself... Idk if the plates are too wide & it is blocking it or what but it is really annoying using the AV cable because it flickers :@

i'm not sure what the problem is because both ends of my hdmi wire fit into both the xbox and the tv, like they're the same. so i dunno if you've got a dudd hdmi cable? or yr xbox is dodgy.

ALSO the picture flickering on yr xbox via av cable is not a good sign. the last time mine did that for a while it ended up with a system error and a costly microsoft repair haha. have you tried a different cable?

What type of Xbox do you have? 360 Arcade, premium, elite or slim?

My cousin just came 'round & he said it's 'cause the cable I have is for old xbox so i gtta get a new cable... GREAT!

So now I need to spend:

£20 HDMI
£40 G.O.W 3
£40 FIFA 12
£40 MW3
£35 Turtle beach headset

total of £175

the plate surrounding the bit that goes in the xbox it too thick, that's why...

You can get cheap HDMI cables on Amazon for like £1.50 that work fine and FIFA 12 will be no more than £30.00 on release day..so that could save you nearly £20.00 of that.
