    Default Absolute and Relative positioning

People say you should use both but it is so much easier to just use absolute?

If you should use both, how do you use them together?

They're pretty different and there's nothing wise to stop you from using both? I'd say you can go ahead with just relative positioning most of the time though to get a nice fluid design.

Relative pays attention to the objects around it and essentially fits around them, while an absolute positioned object will just fling itself to the top-left.
