Default My Portfolio, Whats your View.?

    Hey,
So I've decided to start an online Portfolio, so I needed a design. This is what I came up with:

I like the general idea behind it, but I'm not sure about how I've done it. I couldn't find a nice font for the header/navigation so any ideas would be much appreciated. Also, should I make a navigation bar? Or just leave it as text? Should the Featured Work be on a Slider?

    Thanks in advance
    Sam

Second one looks miles better mate, text is easier to read and the added navigation makes the site more interesting as the first one was a bit empty, well done

ps: Just a tip, maybe add some patterns as the background (low opacity, not in your face) to some sections such as the footer, nav or where your recent work goes at top! Its good to mix it up instead of just using colours
