    Idk.... maybe bookshelves?
Hmm, I think it would be nice if you stacked bookshelves on top of each other so they're two high! (also, i'd get the area bookshelves as they're much nicer than all the other bookshelves).
Erm, gothic desks are really good as you can double click them so they have loads and loads of oldish looking books.
The area study desks would be nice for a library imo, or the actual study desks.
I think it would be nice if you had an area with one of the huge fireplaces to make it cosy looking!
Another thing I'd add is a secret door lol :| So, stack a door teleporter into one of the bookshelves or something and just have a room, but idk I'm into secrecy.
I'm not entirely sure what you could use for the little check out area with someone behind, but you could use the kitchen inspector person to go there?

Good luck with the room, Jan!

If you're trying to make it like the old public one, then yeah I'd say go for it with the balconies but that will be hard won't it!

Use medival bookcases and surround them with greek walls and some gothic chairs around them with some bookcases in lines like at a library and maybe some dungeon floors
