Okay so I did my investigation and called up Sulake and asked about what they think of the whole SOPA thing and all and it was quite and then something was finally said.
This is what was said after some silence:

"Um, we don't really know what to think of it right now. We are just happy that websites like us [Virtual Worlds] haven't been shut-down yet. In the event in which a virtual world gets shut down then we will be concerned."

With SOPA and all of that happening should we be afraid that HABBO will be shut-down and join the fate as MegaUpload?

Why would habbo shut down? Its not a file-sharing site and isn't breaking anything illegal against the law. You can't compare habbo at all to MegaUpload.

Well in a way you can..think about it. Offical forums have DJ's and all and where do they get their music from....file sharing websites such as frostwire. So if you think about it HABBO has illigal information on it through the DJ's...now if the DJ's have the CD's and all then thats a different story.

But official fan sites are not habbos responsibility? hence why there called fan sites. There not at all owned by Sulake.

Also, If DJ's get there music from file sharing, the file sharing website would be closed down? not habbo.

He might not be English. (American's and maybe Australians etc. use the "cut" version of English).

Anyway SOPA is dead now. Also the fact Habbo could just move it's English server to Canada/England/Aussie etc. and everyone else would be fine with the rest being fine for the fact they're not in America. And the final fact is that SOPA stops copyright infringement and Habbo itself does not infringe copyright so there would be no legal grounds to close it. Anyway, ACTA is the **** atm.
