    Default Reputation when winning events.

So atm I believe it is 5 rep for every game/event/round you win.

In my opinion, the amount of rep you get for winning an event should be 10-20. 5 rep for spending 10-20 minutes sometimes in an event. If I look around the forum I'm sure I could help out someone and get 15+ rep in a few minutes.

Also, even competitions usually have 10 rep+ and most of them are writing a short sentence which takes a minute max.

If the amount of reputation received when winning events was increased, more users would go to events which would benefit Habbox as a whole.

Just my opinion, I'm sure some will disagree and some will agree. But 5 rep is pathetic - should be 10-20.

Don't think it's quite a good idea so much, everyonesrep bars would be all the way full. I currently have no issue with it being 5 rep per win.

Don't see how peoples rep bars will be full.

Theres roughly 10 events today, with an average of 4 winners per event. I don't think 400 rep being given out to like 40 people is going to make much of a different if the rep was to be increased to 10.

I think its alright at 5 rep points, and lots of people win events every day they cant be just like giving away more and more points.

We used to award 10 rep per win and found that it just didn't work. Some of the most active event attendees were getting hundreds of rep points a week, and it just wasn't good for the reputation "economy", as it were. Every so often, someone makes a thread on HxF where quite a large amount of people believe there's too much rep being given out. Some users think that reputation should only be gained by +repping posts, and therefore winning it through events or competitions is cheating in a sense. Naturally, we've taken this into account too and 5 rep seems to be a decent prize, without causing too much disruption. Obviously if someone wins a lot of events and they win a lot of reputation, then they obviously deserve it for being supportive of events.

After all, it is an alternative to a piece of furniture, so perhaps you could choose that instead!

Itbecomes a problem when getting rep for events/comps etc are worth more than you get when someone +reps you for posting around the forum. Unlike competitions there are lots more events and so 5 rep is sufficient.

5 rep points does go a long way sometimes, like I will usually take rep when I'm near my next power like yesterday I was 7 away so I asked for rep. Sometimes rep is more sufficient than a furniture prize and I often take furni just if they're new and I like seeing the prizes they give. However, 5 is enough imo.

reputation should be for quality posts rather than attending events. 5 rep for winning an event adds up to a lot if you attend and win a lot of events

Reputation is something you earn by being a part of the community. Winning events and competitions is just as much being a part of the community as quality posts are, they're just different circles in the community.
