Whys my music really quiet

spotify have an inside volume limit or some kind of volume control to make songs all sound the same i believe so have a look into that but i have always found spotify to be quite quiet.

Yeh the volume on spotifys full, but its super quiet

Seems like it maybe a problem with your (/onboard) sound card, try updating your sound drivers.

That's a very unusual problem to have, main volume being on max but having a lower output than the software.

Edit: If you have a separate sound configuration application to the windows default check it's not low in there.

It's all standard PC. Think my dad got it off some website with no OS then i just installed windows 7, really odd

Spotify was always quiet for me, hence why i stopped using it. my itunes sounded fine but spotify was so quiet i just gave up, aha

Youtube's a hell of a lot louder thats why its wierd :S
