They have been around for ages, you probably just haven't noticed them ad they are pretty rare, but have to way personally love them, aswell as all the other pillars :p

Yep they've been around for a long time but pillars are generally not used much anymore. They're on dormant Habbo accounts.

Pillars are used a fair bit tbh especially when needing to stack etc. Although I think they are less common in cinos/arcades now.

The Graphite Pillar on Habbox.com says it's currently unavailable as no one was known to have one. With it being in the marketplace we can see it's an extremely super rare.

This Pillar wasn't available for normal members to buy before the merge due to the fact it was only spotted in a Habbo staffs room, on .COM Habbo it was released in the Catalog sometime in February 2008 (approx) and if it hadn't had been released it wouldn't be available in the hotel. So as Jan said they are very rare and I feel many might be out of circulation now?

Theres a few of them around. 8 or so just after the merge, probably 5 max now in circulation. This is also the same with olive green pillars - pretty rare to, barely in the mp. Even though graphite are a lot rarer.
