    Default Need a CHEAP phone!

    hey,

I am looking for a CHEAP phone as my previous terrible phone got stolen/lost in Drayton Manor and I had to cancel my sim and a new one arrived today but what is a sim without a phone, eh?

I was looking on ebay and came across the Blackberry 8800 for only £32.99 which I think is quite good however I have never tried this model before so if you have had this phone before, is it any good?

If not, any suggestions on what I could get? I am limited on cash at the moment so anything under £50 would be nice!

    Thanks.

That Blackberry is a piece of ****, you're better off getting a cheap phone that you can use until you get enough money to buy a decent one.

My contract runs out in September so I will be able to get a brilliant phone then from Carphone Warehouse with their contracts! My mates said it is alright so I don't know...

All Blackberrys are rubbish, I would not recommend them whatsoever. Are you looking for a smartphone or just a normal phone?

    hey i love my blackberry

the newer ones do suck because they're not built to last - so people will keep buying new ones

my bold 9000 gets dropped almost daily, and ive thrown it angrily many many times, even stamped on it once. everything works!!

just getting a normal phone might be cheaper actually

what network are you on? because orange's own phones are <100 quid and actually not terrible (not great, but not terrible)

You won't get much for 50 quid but that blackberry looks shabby. You'd be better off with one of the older kinds of phones. They are the best :p

There are many cheap phones that have the Android operating system. My advice would go for a small, cheapish Android phone. Also I assume you going to get internet and what not because you talked about getting a BlackBerry.
