Default My First Big Habbo Alteration/Graphic

Hi, i know this is my first post really. But my art teacher said i'm very talented with computer graphics and i love habbo hotel, so i made a graphic/alteration for it, whatever it's called. It's my first one so don't expect much. In this i've used some stuff from the new Picnic public room, and i made the grass and sea myself, if you like it you might be seeing more from me, hopefully. I've uploaded a picture to this post. Sorry for the bad quality.

Its nice, only really a cut and paste job but its nice

Only thing i would really say is that the grass is a tad bright an doesnt really blend into the 'sea'. Apart from that, its really good as a first attempt at graphics! +rep

Agreeing with Ellz, the grass is far to bright and it doesn't blend in. Also, you could add more shading to the sea, as in darker bits where it gets further away from shore.
Other then that a great piece of work for a first try!

One thing I will say is I love how you've put real Habbo furniture into the image such as the Palm Trees and Lodge Benches.

I like the colours you've used on the Canopy thing and the fruit on the trees look good too.
The stumps look rather odd but not picking hairs. As suggested the grass should be darker whereas the water needs more shading!

    Overall a good attempt.

It's good, but it's a little bit bright and the detail isn't great.

I do very much like this and think if this is your first go then ur certainly gonna be going for good things, I won't say about the grass again as already been mentioned a few times, but I think i would improve the water if I were u, since ur having tidal effect on the joining to grass, it only makes sence to try and make the effect of waves on the rest too, apart from that and grass though pretty good xx

You seemed to have applied some effect which I'm going to assume is some sort of blur? The style in Habbo does not have any form of AA (or "smoothing") therefore it damages the style makes it look quite messy. Apart from that it's only really a copy and paste job which isn't all that hard, you should try making basic shapes/furniture or recolours at the very least as this may actually improve ability whereas doing what you did here probably will not.
