don't go using bronzing lotion if you know that you'll burn easily (which i'm presuming you may do), jesus. yes, you may want a tan but it's pretty silly to not be using a decent sunscreen/sunblock when there's the possibility of you getting really burnt.

Ugh I am the same. I wore factor 50 on holidays and applied regularly and still got roasted. I actually feel like I have sun stroke atm. I only had factor 15 from my friend because my sunscream isn't at uni Just stick to a high factor.

There's nothing you can do really, the only thing that's ever really worked for me is not spending a long time outdoors, try to increase it gradually, like spend an hour outside one week, then 2 for the next etc. Increased exposure rather than sudden longtime usually helps the burning. There are more sensitive areas (such as your face, ears, shoulders) which will usually burn a little bit, no matter the weather.

If you're painfully burning I'd try a proper proper strength sunblock, like Zinc stuff. It looks nasty but it does work!!

You can't do anything, even with sun screen. Unless you wanna carry an unbrella around over ya head the whole time. But Sun screen only helps a bit, being out there to long in the sun won't do any good though.
