Default star wars, lord of the rings or harry potter?

ok there's this poll on facebook with this question, and it made me laugh cos i spend half my english lessons discussing this
i like all three, but for me star wars edges it
we are talking about the films only here
don't bring the books or games or anything else related to the franchise into it

The original Star Wars trilogy trumps Lord of the Rings for a variety of reasons, but both are *way* superior to Harry Potter. In a completely different class.

Lord of the rings comes no where near either of them for me, I find it the worst and drawn out, only appealing to people who like walks through the lake district.

Harry Potter tops it for me, all though the books have more emotion and more facts.

Star wars is good I enjoy watching the movies, but it's far to nerdy & could pretty much be written by anyone, the only reason things like that a successful and stand alone is because you can only be crazy once and get away with it.

The Lord of the Rings, no frickin' doubt about it. The other two don't come close.

why are the star wars prequels given such bad press?
i do prefer the original trilogy for obvious reasons, but the prequels are still amazing films
maybe it's because the first star wars film i saw was attack of the clones at the cinema, but i think even the prequels still outdo lotr and harry potter

Star wars is ok. Hate lord of the rings and have never been able to sit through a whole film. Harry potter

I'd say Harry Potter. Lord of The Rings was OK. It's a bit too complicated and I don't like Star Wars.

Star wars is definitely epic, it was fantastically done and for its day it was made AMAZING. Like obviously effort was put into it, not these days where the films are simple to do special effects etc. There is no effort or passion. The fact NOONE saw Darth Vader being Lukes father coming was AMAZING and then the prequels telling you how that came to be was a bloody fantastic idea by George Lucas.

Lord of the rings for me was a bit of a drawn out story as someone already said, I'm not a fan of politics/drawn out stories which is why I did not enjoy the prequels to star wars as much, they were still fantastic.

Harry Potter was also amazing But definitely nowhere near as awesome as Star Wars.
