Default Who's buying a Microsoft Surface?

Who else is considering a Microsoft Surface?

The last thing I need is another tablet but after surfaces have been out for a few weeks I may decide to buy one depending on what sort of reputation of quality Windows 8 and the tablet itself takes on.

If I do buy one, however, I don't want an ARM based device, I would want the full experience of compatibility so I would go x86.

If anyone else is considering this purchase (or another Windows tablet), what do you think you'll do? Go the cheaper route and get a Windows RT tablet? Or go the more expensive route and get something with more power but much worse battery life?

Sticking with my iPad 3 until it's life is up in a year or two... will probably switch to a 7" one at that point like the equivalent of the Nexus 7 for that time.

I'm planning to get a Microsoft Surface depending on the price. Not sure if I'll go RT or Pro yet, again, depends on pricing. Otherwise I'll be getting a Nexus 7 or another Windows 8 tablet.

Microsoft Surface basically is an Ultrabook with the add-on keyboard.

I can't decide between the RT and the Pro, I'm heavily leaning towards the pro though, battery life will decide it for me.

Same, but they're still to announce the pricing which is fairly annoying. That and the pro version is still three months out.

Would love to try one out and maybe even get one. Depends, waiting for more information really - Especially on pricing!
