Samsung Galaxy Nexus Drivers?

Hi, trying to root my Nexus but apparently you need the drivers installed? Well when they install they're always the Android 1.0 old drivers? I need the Samsung ADB interface driver but every time I try to install it... It fails? I don't even know if I'm installing the correct driver or what? EURG someone help!!! +rep n ****
