T-shirts

Not sure if this should go here or elsewhere so here it is.

Right basically this is research for me as I want to start designing my own t-shirts and get them printed up and sell them so what I want to know is when buying shirts what is it you look for in the way of design? So please copy and paste this and fill it out.

What do you look for in the way of design?
What colour tshirts do you usually buy?
Do you prefer larger or smaller designs?
Do offcentre designs (i.e. across the breast or from the bottom to centre of the tshirt) designs appeal to you?
How much do you generally pay for tshirts (max price please)
