Hi, just something that i think should be sorted is the poor standard and quality of event rooms. No one likes ugly rooms on Habbo, yes there are a few rooms which are "good" but then you have rooms looking like this which give Habbox event an awful image making it look poor etc.
If you go have a look at other fansite events room you will see how rich they are, they have themes and they are usually always full. Because when people enter rooms like the one below, they think "scam, poor, prize will be a duck"

(there are 4 pieces of furni in this room that habbo didnt give out for free)

So maybe you could check events organizers have furni to give decent prizes and make a room look nice.
Not saying all rooms are ugly, cause i've seen some really nice looking event rooms such as kellys, dragga, oldlovesongs and cassiiies but the room i posted above just lets it down espeically when they are hosting a large block of events during peek usa/australian times where there is a huge market for new users

I agree with what you're saying about the image it's giving to people who go in to the room, but then we can't blame the events host because not everyone has loads of credits to spend. But can events staff not use other people's rooms to host events in? e.g. If the events manager had a few rooms that hosts could use when they can't make a room for that particular game.

i completely agree with what's being said. whenever you host events on the hotel you need to make sure that you make a good first impression and other than how you host the event, room design is what people will be looking at. when i was in the department i was forever making sure my events rooms were designed to a good standard, it's not that you have to be rich to have a good room either (although if you have no furniture i don't know why you're in the department). all you need is enough furniture to host a variety of different games and make the room look appealing. it doesn't have to be rares and other expensive furniture. you can make a decent looking room with club sofas, lodge and forest walls. as for the persons room above, seniors or events management will probably send a feedback pm if they haven't already. i can't see it being a problem to improve the room, all you need is a group room and people to help you design. if it's that much of a problem i don't mind dropping whatever furniture i have for them, i've got loads of crap i don't use anymore, you might as well put it to good use lmao. but yeah on a brighter note i've been impressed with a few of the events i've managed to get to over the past few days!

i agree with this too, i really think there should be a standard of events room. it's all well and good saying that it's nice that they're giving up their furni for other peoples entertainment, but i'm sure people would stay and play in a good room rather than one that looks really bad. i don't see why there isn't one room made for all events staff to use, like a really big one with all sorts of seats and a few peices of wired for them to use. or they could just use a friend of theirs room (providing they're an eo) and stuff.

and if eos want it to be in their room then it's easy enough to buy a group room (they're fairly cheap) and have others (i know tons of willing people) drop the furni

Agree with this too. I know the events department currently has quite a few donations lurking around too, so perhaps some of those could be used to improve events rooms a little or something. Even something basic can look good providing its organised properly (with bars etc) and it looks smart. I'm sure a few lodge bars/corners and stuff won't be too much of a problem.

I don't think its much of an issue on the whole, as all of the other events rooms I've been to have been fine, but I'm sure someone will help zahz to improve the room slightly if thats what people want.

I think the idea of having a few pre-made rooms for events would be a good idea too, especially since the new rights system allows non room owners to ban etc should a problem arise. I wouldnt mind making a few "pre-set" rooms such as a bingo room, pod racing room, higher or lower room etc that events organisers could universally use and have rights within. I will discuss this with Alex and hopefully this can go ahead.

I'd agree but my rooms are so terrible that it'd just be hypocrisy. In defence of said room, the reason that room doesn't look very good is because the EO in question has been perm banned so I think it's commendable that she's continued to host events despite that obstacle. Her events rooms before that were quite good. Ultimately, while first impressions are important, it has been my experience that people are willing to overlook nooby rooms if hosts are able to show that they play their events fairly and are "safe."

TBH some EOs give VIP furni even if they do have a lot of creds so yeah... I doubt there will ever be a limit on prizes so yeah. Also rooms need to be a more decent design but she was banned so not her fault... :/
i used to put the names of my favourite singers here... then i realised nobody cared
