wasn't even gonna make a goodbye thread since i never made a welcome thread all those years ago, but meh thought i'd put something to commiserate my almost 8 years on the forum (don't all cry at once please, i don't think the servers could handle it).

even though i've been popping on every now and again, i've lost 200000% interest in the forum (i log on, click "new posts" then close the web page). even now, i've checked a few times and there's nothing remotely interesting. it's just habit that's bringing me back to the forum really. it's quite evident that the tides are changing, and i'm sure things will pick up sooner or later, but i don't need to wait for that to happen; especially since i have my dissertation and graduate job to sort out.

dunno what else to put really. i'm pretty **** at keeping my word so i may pop on occasionally, however i'd say that would be based on curiosity more than anything else.

it's been a good train ride, but i must depart. all in all, it's been a decent journey; but everything comes to an end :¬:.
