I just have to share this. This took place a few months ago between left-wing writer Laurie Penny and Dr. David Starkey (who i'm pretty much on side with most subjects, from Monarchy to the size of the state). Anyway, as usual Ms. Penny tried to slur the one in the room with conservatives/right wing opinions by calling him a racist, bigot etc (you know, the usual whenever you come to discuss immigration or Britishness).... and usually in public forums you'll have the conservative in the room drowned out, well I have to say that Starkey's takedown of Ms. Penny is one of the best things I have ever seen. It became so heated they had to stall the debate, but near the end you hear the audience back Starkey as she stutters and flounders.



Well worth a watch just for the entertainment value, as I said; one of the best takedowns in a debate/public forum I have ever seen.

Absolutely, she's the sort who thinks "accept theory first, look into it after... and then twist it to fit with the original ideas"
