Have you ever been fired / laid off?

What was the reason, how did it make you feel & how did you deal with the situation?


I got fired there a year ago or so ago, I was working in a factory. I accidentally sent a company a pallet of 130 folders instead of 13 folders lalala woops (in fairness I was only working there for a small period of time and it wasn't entirely my fault). I didn't know how to react when called into the office, I was just sat there listening to him saying he wouldn't be renewing my contract. I was thinking.. ****.. I asked the reason why and just man'd up, shook his hand and said thanks for the opportunity, in the end I got a good reference out of it.

yes I was head of school council for year 10 then they said I wasn't doing enough so gave the job to some girl

yeh i rolled domino's company car when i was like 18, it has no reverse gear or 3rd gear

No but I've only ever had 2 jobs and one was a temp position.

I got fired from Habbox twice, but I can't say why or I'd get in trouble .

I've never been fired from a real life job though .

I don't know, I don't think we're meant to say why we got fired, but I think a lot know anyway.

she used to own a porn tumblr blog and she was forever promoting it until she got fired and she shut it down.
