    Default French Open Final 2013

Surprised not to see a thread on this already. I apologise if there is one.

Serena Williams just won Women's Singles against Maria Sharapova. Both played fantastically, Maria did pretty well and Serena was brilliant. Her winners speech was in French though so I had no idea what she was on about!

We'll see Nadal against Ferrer in the Men's Singles tomorrow. Hoping for a Nadal win.

Despise Nadal with a passion, he's such an arrogant player at times. I missed the Women's final however it was fairly obvious that Serena would win it. Ferrer may win a set tomorrow but that'll be the maximum lol, if Nadal can break Djokovic no one else has a hope in hell!

Queens starts next week, thank god the clay tournaments are over!

Nadal's not arrogant He's just the best player there's ever been on clay

The Men's final is going to be such a bore, Ferrer is like a wall, with not special in his game.

I watched the second set of the women's final cos I missed the first, and Serena was like not trying for the first half and still did ok.
Then you saw her get to 40-0 with 3 aces or something preposterous; it's like if she can actually be arsed to try and win she'll pwn but otherwise she just cruises through
I think it was 6-3 6-4 in all, so to be honest seemed like a pretty simple game for her.

people know me because of that shower thing one time and I do not regret anything

upon further review I feel a rather mild regret is warranted

I think Nadal will have a very easy victory but I guess there's hope...

Would have preferred it if he was up against Tsonga I think

The whole of the crowd would have preferred Tsonga
The whole way through I kept thinking he was gael monfils I was like BUT THIS GUY IS OLD AND LOW RANKED NOW WAT
    But he isn't
I watched a little of the replay of that match, I didn't think it was as good as the women's final imo

I'm predicting it'll be a four set match with Ferrer getting a set, apart from that Nadal will overcome the conditions to win

Such a good game. Ferrer played pretty well and Rafa's win was really well deserved, he did good. His celebration was so cute.

Meh it was an okay match in my opinion, I think i didn't enjoy it as much as I really don't like Rafa. The protestors - flare and banner - were unusual as you rarely see this sort of thing in tennis. Thank god that's the last of the clay tournaments, BRING ON QUEENS/AEGON CHAMPIONSHIPS NEXT WEEK!
