A general bother about the hotel...

Does it annoy anyone else that thought the hotels have merged, they still go by American times/events.
I don't have much to back this up except for the fact that they advertise summer things when it's winter here and such. I just would've thought they'd take into consideration that there's many countries in the one hotel, and yet it is just convenient for Americans.

ban times is what bothers me the most along with mute times, i know it's not THAT hard to work it out, but it'd be easier if they wrote several different popular times

I find most of the events are based around GMT or Madrid time because that's where Powertoo works from. They made such a big deal about merging the hotels originally but now it's as if we never merged. I loved when we first merged and we had Puffin, Fozzie and Smoothcriminal each working in a different timezone to accomodate as many players as possible.

Yes, if they were going to fire all our staff and then pretty much forget about us, then they should never have merged Australia and Singapore with the huge hotels US/CA/UK because we NEVER get considered in any events, LTD release, furni releases, general games and activities since it's always 3am ish for us.

I guess we have to look at it from a business point of view though, they will obviously accomodate for the majority and where majority of their money comes from. And I've made some kool friends on this hotel anyway.

Annoys me so much!!! Ban and mute times are in EST, events are in GMT/BST. I pray every day that they would choose one time zone to put all times in and then put it on the homepage like Neopets have. It wouldn't bother me if it was a stupid random time, I just wish it was standardised so it would be easy to figure out when you ban ends and when the events are. Especially since because of daylight savings the time might shift an hour without you realising, a simple date and time would be really great.

And then yeah it's annoying how all of the events are for the other places. But you always gotta remember that they have more users and right now the majority of users are in the Summer. Same with the wintery Christmas furni in our summer, and having the events and LTD releases at times that are good for the majority.

But yeah it's annoying I know. Sometimes it may not feel like it but I'm sure they considered these things when merging the hotels, and I guess they decided it was better to accommodate to those they get more money from.
