This is out today!! Read the book, overall pretty decent, don't think the movie will measure up. The fact that the zombies can run kinda turns me off but it has brad pitt in it

seeing it this weekend if i have any time for 3 movies lol

I've seen the trailer on TV, it looks okay! I will probably end up going to see it, hopefully it's good.

Went to see it earlier and I loved it! Wasn't a massive fan of the 3D (but then again I don't really like 3D films anyway) and think I'd have preferred to watch it in 2D, although saying that there were a few really effective 3D moments. Found the actual storyline really interesting as well and for a fairly long film I didn't think it dragged at all.

Definitely recommend it (unless you're just going in hope of watching a giant zombie fight in which case don't bother). Haven't read the book though so have no idea how it compares to that

The whole first part of the trailer is filmed in street in Glasgow and where you can see the red ground with the trees is Glasgow's George Square haha!

In the last photo the building to the left was used as the United Nations building and certain streets and the square were shut to the public for like 2-3 weeks.

I have no idea what to expect for this movie. I don't want to go in with such high expectations.

Just got back from watching this! Totally amazing! I thought I wouldn't like it as a fast zombie movie after reading the book (a few times since school) but the way that the films been done is perfect. The end is somewhat open ended though like "We ran out of time so here's some file footage and a voice over".

The movie was good, like i said it didn't measure up to the book. Plot was quite generic actually, zombie outbreak and a race for a cure but the running zombies added a twist to the story. Overall, it's intense and satisfying. I heard there's a sequel to this, or this may the first in a trilogy. Would love to see how that works
