Default Apple WWDC - 10-14th June.

Hi all - it's been a hell of a long time

In case any of you hadn't heard, Apple's major keynote event of the summer takes place next week.

Here's a rumour roundup of what's expected/anticipated to be announced in their event on Monday (10th - 10AM-12AM American time):

    • iOS7 - a major revamp to the operating system shipped with all of their mobile devices.

Screenshots from the WWDC app (released today) show a graphically "flatter" OS... your opinions on this one?

    • Improvements to OS X (though the big cat it's named after is still under debate). Those rumoured include tabbed finder browsing, the addition of Siri, full-screen apps for multiple displays (others inc. fast app switcher (like that with iOS's double-tap the home button)).
    • Safari is said to be getting an update which will include faster loading times - the ins and outs of, no one seems to know though.
    • iRadio - Apple's answer to Spotify, Pandora and Rdio. Rumours rooted in the deals being made between publishing and content-creating sources (major labels, etc). Not too much on the functionality or whether it will actually appear this time round yet though.
    • iPad Mini 2. I've got a feeling we'll be left a little underwhelmed at this one. Incremental updates are probably gonna be the only thing we'll see - retina display, better camera, bit faster and probably thinner and lighter.
    • An upgrade in processor for the Macbook Pro and Macbook Air is pretty much concrete now. Though, a little unexciting to say the least.

If you find anything more, post it in here. Let me know what you think! I'm a bit of an Apple fanboy nowadays so expect a tough fight you androiders

    -----

Things that I'm personally NOT expecting to see: iTV and iWatch. Still too little information out their to really suggest we'll be seeing them this early in 2013.

As an iPhone user and since it's the only Apple product I have - I am interested to see what they have to say about iOS 7 for sure.

Bye bye skeuomorphism. It'll be interesting to see how Apple manages this without looking like a Windows Phone / Android rip off.

Apple has always had good integration between devices but I'd like to see further improvements. Something that allows better native integration between Mac, iPhone + iPad would be good...

Looking forward to iOS7, waiting on the new MacBook Airs for an upgrade to the new Haswell CPUs.

Hi Harry... so surreal actually coming back on here...

Yh, I agree. iCloud needs sprucing up a little but I've never really been displeased at how easy it is to transfer stuff between all of my iOS/OS X devices tbh!

I'm looking forward to iOS 7. I wasn't at first, but I love the look of the WWDC app so hopefully I'll like the whole new iOS look as well .

I'll hang fire on iOS7 till I see some pictures of it.

Macbook,There probably will be an update, not to fussed as I just got a rMBP, I don't think they will drop the non-retina however, its too good of a seller.

iPad Mini - Again, not to fussed, just got one, I doubt there will be any ground breaking updates.
