Ben Affleck to Play Batman in Man of Steel Sequel

Any thoughts on this? Internet seems to be going crazy and complaining about this choice.

However a few years back they said the same about Heath Ledger (See This Image), and he turned out to be one of the greatest villains of modern cinema.

Personally i think Affleck isn't a bad choice even if it's a bit hard to imagine him in that role after the latest batman trilogy.

meh, i quite like ben affleck but i'm not sure how i feel about him as batman. i'm not going crazy over it like people on twitter (i'm pretty sure 6-7/10 trends were about him at one point, GOD). we'll just have to wait and see!!

i heard jake gyllenhaal was rumoured and i could kinda see that. meh.

Oh my, a male with a strong physical frame being used to play Batman in what is essentially a supporting role, what a travesty. Genuinely can't understand why this is such a big deal, it's not like Christian Bale is that amazing anyway and the DC storyline for Man of Steel isn't the same one as Dark Knight etc so it doesn't matter that it's a totally different person anyway
