I usually buy my dog a toy or a stocking full of treats (yes they make them!).

I always bought my dog a small chewy thing or something. A couple of years back they did turkey and cranberry flavoured chewsticks so I got him a couple of those! He had a little stocking as well, next to mine & my sister's

every day is Christmas for my cat .

But, I saw an advent calendar for cats with different flavored cat treats in each of the days (that my cat absolutely loves!) and I might get it lol. He also gets chicken on christmas day!
(P.S... My gran used to buy two chickens, one for the human family and one for the cat family she had! The names of the cats: archie lobey cloey buffy tiger oscar (oscar was also known as black and white man lol)
