I own http://www.egyptianhistory.co.uk though it's currently closed due to a huge amount of bots registering.

I have a YouTube channel with some good Egyptian content http://www.youtube.com/user/zakerias91

If you have any questions I'd be more than happy to answer them. As for important historical figures there's a wide variety of historical figures you may want to check out.. Narrowing down what you actually want will help me a lot. Otherwise I will just list some names for you.

    1. Narmer (Unified Upper & Lower Egypt),
    2. Djoser (Built first pyramid),
    3. Snerfru (Built first true-sided pyramid),
    4. Khufu (Built largest pyramid which was the tallest building in the world until the Lincoln Cathedral was built in the 1330s, is the only ancient wonder of the world still left standing)
    5. Mentuhotep II (First Pharaoh of the Middle Kingdom)
    6. Hatshepsut (First and only female Egyptian Pharaoh)
    7. Thutmose III (Warrior king who extended Egypt's borders to the largest it would ever see)
    8. Amenhotep III (Largest mortuary temple, Grandfather of Tutankhamun)
    9. Akhenaten (Rejected traditional Egyptian religion and chose to worhsip the Aten (sun disk))
    10. Tutankhamun (First royal tomb to be discovered intact by Howard Carter)
    11. Ramesses II (Probably associated to the bible, Battle of Kadesh, greatest ruler)
    12. Alexander the Great (was a Pharaoh of Egypt, greatest conqueror ever known)
    13. Ptolemys (There were many, Greek origin)
    14. Cleopatra VII (This is the famous Cleopatra, had a son with Julius Caesar, sided with Mark Anthony against Octavian after Caesar's death, she isn't the last Pharaoh of Egypt her son was, she committed suicide, she wasn't beautiful)

As I said any other information I will drill into my head for info.

Oh and I've been to Egypt - all around so if you need info like then just ask

    @Josh!;

To answer your question put on my profile - all of the figures listed fall in the time frame except

    1. Alexander the Great
    2. Ptolemys
    3. Cleopatra VII

3500BC is really the start of recorded history in Egypt with Dynasty 1 Pharaohs starting at approx 3150BC.

395BC is quite a random date to end on. It would seem that what ever you're researching doesn't want to focus on Greek-Egypt where Alexander the Great conquered Egypt and thus Egypt was really controlled by Greek rulers up until Caesarion's death in 30BC.
