Why don't you block certain sites on your computer?

im telling you dont get a credit card
trying asking your bank to make a certain account that you cant touch for like 3 years or something and put money into it like 30$ a week or have the bank add it in from your original account
some one at my mom works gives my mom 100$ a week so she wont spends it and my mom holds on to it
why not give me like 40$ a week ( or 80$ every 2 weeks ) and i give it back to you at the end of the year

    I will destroy Isis
I got it from my daddy

First off -rep for being a massive loser, you could be spending that money on me

Then yeah whatever day you get paid, set up a standing order (automated payment) for the day after into another account with restrictions on it, and then just leave a sensible amount in your normal account that you can use for buying stuff
Also set savings goals like trying to save up X amount and then if you do you can have a cat or something and like Nick said do not get a credit card you will go into so much debt and Ian will not be pleased

unsubscribe everything or just get a new email and use it only for important stuff like payment receipts and all that, cancel all your credit cards and get a debit card

If you don't want the hassle of sorting out a lot of bank stuff, just set up a weekly budget depending on your income and stick to it.

I have a delightful Excel file where I record everything that I pay for where the money comes straight out of my bank. So always keeping receipts is a good idea! Keep them all week and then at the end of the week do your finances. I find if something comes up, like a family member's birthday, and I overspend my weekly budget, I just make it up the next week by spending less and it soon balances out.

If you don't set your budget equal to you income and stick to the budget, you are guaranteed to have money left over as savings all in the same account.

I also find, if I need to save up for something, such as exchanging hundreds of pounds to dollars to go on holiday, that it is better not to spend for a few weeks and save up the money rather than spending it upfront and having no money for weeks because you might actually really need some money later on.

It's all about being sensible and just sticking to a budget. I don't believe in the whole 'do you really need it?' thing because sometimes you don't really need something, but you want it, and why not? You should be able to spend your money on whatever makes you happy, all I say is be sensible, and if you see a range of beauty products you want, then go for it, and maybe cut back on spending the next week.

This. Work out exactly how much you earn each (or get) week and then set up a budget for all your essential items (food, bills if you have to pay for those yet) and then work out exactly how much you have left over. Then you could put either half or two thirds (or whatever) into a savings account and whatever is leftover is for you to spend?

Also I think only one other person has mentioned unsubscribing to those sites.. That's a must :S

I spent £1000 in an hour yesterday so I wouldn't worry about it.

If you want to stop spending take all the money out of your debit card account and give it to your parents.. where they can lock it away in the safe. I take it you don't have a credit card?

It's all about will power really but if anyone has excess $$$ most people will spend it. I know I do
