    Angry Look and Pixel Competition

    I was a bit bummed that I didn't win when I read the article, but I was in tears when I saw the wining entries. I thought it was common knowledge that MS Paint's spray paint tool isn't a good way to go with pixel art...

    I know it's not the best, but I was hoping it would win one of THIRTY spots.

    In all honesty I didn't know what it was until I took a good look at it. Would have benefited with a higher contrast.

    Where can I see the top 30?

    I'm bummed that they picked a cloud for the winning design.

    You just have to look at the list on Habbo Stories of all the submitted and compare it to the winner's list. There are only about 2 good ones that anyone would ever wear.

    SOME OF THOSE DESIGNS... NO NEARLY ALL THOSE DESIGNS ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE HOW DID SOME OF THOSE PEOPLE WIN WHAT THE HELL.

    Anyway, although yours is considerably better than a few others it still seems a bit 'blurry'. Higher contrast is the way to go (as db has said).

    I clicked pixel by pixel... I'm kind of confused as to how it came out blurry. Any tips?:S

    Don't save as JPEG. That actually might be why I had trouble seeing what it was.

    I'm actually appalled by the quality of some, no most, of these entries. Most of these wouldn't even worse as designs in hotel so why the hell they were picked is ******* ridiculous and if I had entered this competition and lost I would be outraged.

    ^^ Yeah I realised that when zooming in haha. It's Sulake's fault for the .jpg partly as in their article theyve put example as "______.jpg" when you're actually allowed to use any extension i'd imagine.
    -- @Delicify;

    The outline around the eyes and the mouth was too light, it nearly blended in with the duck itself hence why it was so faint - this might have been down to .jpg, but just in case it was you yourself who did it - compare these 2 ducks:

    much easier to tell the eyes and the beak or w.e. on the left one than the right. Also the eyes looked weird imo so i made it so they were both looking another direction >.

    no the duck's not meant to be perf jus proving a point

    Thank you! I'll keep that in mind. What's a better format? I have it saved as a .png aw well but I didn't really compare the two.
