I am a third year psychology university student and I would like to find out if there is a link between habbo users’ behaviours and their personality traits.

If you wish to take part in this study you will need to complete two questionnaires which will take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE AGED 16 OR OVER.

Research Information Sheet for Participants

I am Kendra Yung a third year psychology student at Southampton Solent University. I am requesting your participation in a study regarding personality traits and behaviours carried out on Habbo. This will involve filling out two questionnaires, one related to personality and one related to what you do on Habbo. This should take no longer than 15 minutes. All participants must be aged 16 or over. Personal information will not be released to or viewed by anyone other than researchers involved in this project, the marker(s), and in some cases external examiners. Results of this study will not include your name or any other identifying characteristics.

Your participation is voluntary and you may withdraw your participation at any time before MARCH 1ST 2014, please remember to give your forum name at the end of questionnaire as this will be required if you wish to withdraw after submitting your data.

You understand that data collected as part of this research project will be treated confidentially, and that published results of this research project will maintain anonymity.
