Default What is the point in hxhd when...

Seriously, what the hell is the point when semi-abusive kinda **** goes on the daily (not necessarily to me, but in general) and no-one seems to care. I remember when a few members got banned from hxhd last year or so and it was the best thing that happened (why were they unbanned lol.......), right now there's a toxic atmosphere almost every day and it creates the crappiest impression on Habbo and yes I know i'm never 100percent innocent but i don't come in and take the piss out of the same people on the daily. There's always fights or people getting genuinely abused constantly and if I was a newbie and walked into hxhd today id turn around and walk right back out.

Not to mention the fact staff seem to be lacking in response when there is a load of ''rule breaking'' stuff going on in the room but hey.

I know habbox isnt the nicest place in the world, but you know it's the same members over and over again, so why do you let them come in and why is there not a stricter warning system for them in particular? lol.

I completely agree. It's always the same few members causing problems and nothing seems to be done about it. It's not as if the people that need to know don't know about!

Too much is made of the help desk. Is it actually used as a help desk these days? Last time I was on (in 2009?) it was just a meeting place with a load of people asleep behind a bar or just chatting about any old rubbish. I still don't see why it can't just become a lounge, since that's all it really is these days.

help desk staff don't actually help anymore. they think that if they are in the room and not behind the desk that they aren't obliged to do so. all help desk staff should have hxhd in motto so people know who they are othrewise lets add a football gate to the staff area to make them all wear a uniform.

adding a stricter warning system for known offenders is not fair but I do think that warning systems must be applied properly to everyone.

No idea what's been happening recently towards yourself but we can easily ban people from the room if they are continuing to cause trouble towards you and others. Regarding the whole "lounge" business - You can class the Help Desk whatever you want but we will always keep the name "Habbox Help Desk" for tradition.

I didn't always mean me , but I would hope a lot of people who do get 'picked on' by the same people would speak up too. I don't go in there much anymore because everytime i go there it's always a negative atmosphere. But thank you for your response matt =]

Motto thing is actually a rule (so must of us have it in the motto all the time). As far as I know, when there is incident we do usually apply the warning system fairly and correctly, there is a problem I find with that is sometimes other staff members can slightly muck things up (by accident) when they've just entered the room/been on brb.

Could it be done better? Yes yes. Now you've brought this up, it may be prudent for @Empired; @zebbadi; and @Cassiieee; to do a session on habbo to train all of us how to deal with rule-breakers. I'm guessing as we've had such an influx of new comers recently (including me) so we aren't as confident or aren't necessarily as willing (admittedly I hate trying to deal with the trolls, honestly I'd just like to get them room banned straight away).

We have discussed about certain rule-breakers (I won't say anymore then that) but hopefully with you guys speaking up about this as well, it will help in decision making etc.
