It's so people know that they're definitely no longer Habbox staff.

If it's for lack of actual ability then I agree that it might come across as harsh but in this particular instance LoganD resigned before his trial ended and therefore failed. I would hope that staff that actually fail because of something other than not meeting minimums would receive a pm or something outlining what they did good/bad.

maybe they could have put 'has quit his trial' because it's not like he failed for his performance.

Generally speaking, managers don't fail people because they're incompetent. Not that they couldn't if they wanted to but most of the time, managers take the view that if someone is active enough they can be trained. So the main reason people fail trials is that they weren't active enough and if they're not active enough then you shouldn't feel too bad for them because they're probably not even around.

ok well when i see the announcements i don't know that and just assume they're plum and little 14 yr olds crying over failing a trial. i would be

anyway ya the issue isn't the reason they're fired, i just don't see a reason to post it as it's a bit negative

Absolutely this. When I was content manager every dismissal was due to lack of activity iirc.
