British people - which nationality are you first?

From all the Scottish independence debate threads, it seems that it's easier for English people to see themselves as British first than it is for the Scottish to do so. I personally have always seen myself as Scottish before i'm British which is nothing to do with nationalism but rather because I see the countries as separate and I've never felt attached to the rest of Britain. I wondered whether England find it easier because they're the bigger country? so I thought id do a poll, dw undertaker i don't believe this poll can speak for the rest

Interestingly, the part of the UK that considers themselves the most British is Northern Ireland.

I suppose there should have been a 'I'm Irish and see myself as Northern Irish' option, considering the good Friday agreement and all that

I'm all so confused about which part of Ireland, if any, see themselves as British. hopefully someone can explain. I just placed them all together so I guess voting yourself as irish first can be any sort of irish? Was just hoping to see who places themselves as British before their separate country, if u can call them separate.

ireland aren't a part of britain or the UK, northern ireland is part of the UK but not britain

irish and irish first obv as there is no other logical choice (if you're from the republic)

Ireland don't, Northern Ireland do

ireland is part of nothing, N.I is part of UK
