Why am I seeing all of these announcements in my "new posts" searches?

I'm assuming it's because they've all been redone and re-stickied. Once you click them they go away

It's because they've been reposted from the Forum God account and you must read them before they go away. Marking all forums read doesn't work either.

Although, I'm pretty sure it's possible to change the thread starter by merging posts or whatever so why wasn't this done? You could have updated them this way by editing the post too and put last updated XX/XX/XXXX?

Yeah Kelly is right. I am assuming as people post new threads, posts etc they will be pushed down as well

Also @Nick; on the graphics one it has an error it says 'areas' in the post instead of 'errors' .

I was hoping someone would have a life hack for lazy people to mark them all as read or something.

I've clicked them all. That was just awful.
