Default Ebola arrives(?) in Great Britain

Ebola in the UK awaiting confirmation as patient who travelled to Western Africa is isolated

It said the person recently travelled in an Ebola affected area and was being assessed and tested in accordance with a national contingency plan.

Having already tested positive for malaria, a blood sample will confirm if they also have contracted Ebola.

The BBC understands the patient has been in the Royal Victoria Hospital's special isolation unit since Friday.

In line with national guidelines, nursing staff are wearing protective clothing while caring for the patient.
These people travelling to these countries and then coming home without isolating themselves are incredibly selfish. They think that because they're helping poor Africans they are saints, yet they come home - like that Doctor in New York - and selfishly go about meeting their friends, family & the general public despite the huge risks in treating Ebola patients.

    Thoughts?

Same thing happened to a worker in NYC who went around after coming back. You'd think the organizations who employ these people would have some sort of guideline.

Hopefully he is actually negative, probably wrong but thought it was undetectable up to a point?

It's a good thing too! Having Malaria and Ebola sounds like a death sentence.

Anyway, good news that it came back negative. No doubt it will eventually make its way here though.
