    Default Where is everyone?

I have been a Habbo player off-and-on since 2009(ish), I say ish because I have had accounts previous to that, however I never really considered myself a continuing player until 2009. I still stay in contact with a few individuals I met on Habbo, and I am grateful for getting the chance to meet them.

However, I recently logged on because of the rubbish weather (also the fact that the other game I mainly play was down) and once again became quickly engrossed in all the cool stuff that has been added to the hotel. I noticed the counter read only about ~2,000 people online. Now, I could be wrong, but I remember there being in the 6,000's the last time I played.

So, my point, where is everyone? Even with ~2,000 people the rooms seem empty and I can hardly find any games or a wide variety of coin shops as I could before.

Is Sulake doing anything to try to obtain new players?

Side note: I also really miss casinos, what happened?

What update, would you say, caused the largest amount of people to leave?

    Under Sulake's control: Removing Casinos
Not really under Sulakes control: Channel 4's report a few years ago which caused a huge mute.

I wonder if they'd ever consider removing dice restrictions and allowing casinos again. Maybe make it a part of the game, so people are less likely to get scammed.

I don't see that happening really. When was the last time Habbo actually listened to the community & changed something for the better? They're stubborn & they're fairly set on their decision.

Plus I also believe there was something legal about it? Like underage gambling or something? Idek.

I feel as though Habbos business-model would fit well with todays micron transaction game market. If they focused more on Android and iOS development I do believe it could make a large come-back. Also, they could focus on the builders club, or whatever. Kids, and adults, love MineCraft for that very reason and Habbo was stacking blocks before MineCraft was an idea.

Perhaps a free version of the builders club with an emphasis on the creative aspect of Habbo would bring people back and get new people addicted.

    If only Sulake listened.
