Some people have trouble believing that it isn't butter because of how alike it looks and tastes. DO you believe its butter or can you believe its not butter?

    Debate.

I can always tell when it's marg or butter cos marg is always harder but more spreadable at the same time. I am a marg guy myself.

Yes. It's really easy to tell the two apart by taste and texture alone, not forgetting how well each go with cooking. I'm slowly readopting butter for cooking as it tastes better and adds a certain sheen to what is being cooked. I reserve marg/spread for non-cooking like sandwiches etc.

Well, it's easy to know the differences. Margarine is a bit harder and tastes very different from normal butter. I never buy margarine, not even for cooking.

Differences have been stated above and I don't think I've ever eaten margarine. But if a recipe ever says butter, use butter ugh. If you're gonna use marg when it says butter you may as well put in plain flour instead of self raising flour too :/

I like anything that spreads easily

I can believe it; if it's a recipe, I use what it asks for and don't pick and choose between imposters though
