How long did it take you to learn how to drive?

I've recently begun learning how to drive and I'm in that frustrating period where i just want to be able to drive without silly mistakes and hours of learning

about a month and a half, i used to have 3 hours a week though

I'm currently sitting at doing around 2-3 per week so hopefully it's that soon for me too

i did have my own car that i was insured provisionally on for the whole time, which i used once or twice a week
that seriously helped loads

honestly it will depend on the person i feel, like i had driven when i was younger and knew how to drive a car before having lessons

I had my first lesson last Thursday, doing two hours a week atm but hoping to do another lesson soo 4 hours a week :3

I'm actually not that bad at it shockingly my instructor says if I keep up what I've done so far I should be done in 2-3 months (my partners sister passed last week, she had been learning a yr and a half... )

passed my test 6 months to the day after my 17th birthday

it took me 18hours of lessons

i got told by a driving instructor you should have at minimum one hour for every year of your life in order to pass. not sure how accurate that has been with other people though
